Triboelectric effect or using high voltage power source will create static charge on polymer surface. This charge must be released and Anti-static agent is used to reduce or eliminate this charge, the agent added makes polymer surface either itself conductive or absorb the moisture from air.
Different Anti-static Agents
There are different antistatic agents for seperate purpose. For example internal anti-static agents are mixed directly with polymers and external antistatic agents are used to the polymer surface.
